Outside Overtoun House
(A 19th-century country house built in the Scottish Baronial architecture style in the 1860s for James White, a retired lawyer and a co-owner of a Glasgow Chemical Works. It was donated to the people of Dumbarton in 1938 and has had many uses since then including a convalescent home for soldiers and a maternity hospital. It is currently a Christian centre for Scottish youth).
