Soon after leaving Robertson Park, as we entered Craigielinn Glen, we encountered muddy paths made slippery by fallen leaves.

The last time we visited this waterfall it was barely a dribble. This time it was more impressive.
Our morning break was taken adjacent to Upper Glen Dam.
This reservoir supplied water to the Glenfield Scouring Works which were founded in the 1820s and closed in 1966.
Leaving Glen Park behind we climbed onto Brownside Braes and were rewarded by an extensive view across Johnstone and Elderslie to the Renfewshire Hills.

We took a short break after climbing Brownside Braes. Was this for a rest or to admire the view towards Glasgow?
Lunch was taken on the shore of Glenburn Reservoir
This reservoir was built in 1879 to supply drinking water to Paisley

At the end of our walk, we crossed the moorland back to Robertson Park
