Follow the West Highland Way mainly along the shoreline of Loch Lomond to Rowchoish Bothy through mixed woodland with open views of the loch and return by the same route

Common Dog Violet
There were many wild flowers to be seen on the walk taking advantage of the lack of leaf cover to flower before the new leaves blocked out the sunlight
Our morning break was taken just over half-way to Rowchoish Bothy

Lunch time and the turn-round point on our walk at the Rowchoish Bothy
As there were no midges and it was dry, we decided to stay outside
