We walked along the coast from Kilcreggan, round Rosneath point and through the Caravan Park before returning to Kilcreggan past Clachan Farm and along the forest track through Hill of Camsail Plantation and Millbrae Plantation.

We set off along a good track towards Portkil Point and the site of a Bronze Age cemetery

Our morning tea break was taken on the rocks at Meikleross Bay

Leaving the coast behind we had a steady climb to the Hill of Camsail Plantation
