Craigend Castle
It was built in 1816 in the Regency Gothic style. Sir Harold E. Yarrow, founder of Yarrows Shipyard, lived there from 1920 to 1949 after which it became the offices and tearoom for Wilson’s Zoo and was abandoned in 1955 falling into disrepair in the 1950s
