Walking towards Balloch Country Park alongside the River Leven at the start of our walk
On previous occasions we had found the paths very muddy and boggy but they have now been much improved
Care had to be taken throughout the walk due to the patches of ice we encountered
After leaving Knockour Hill behind we had this view of Loch Lomond with Ben Lomond on the right and Ben Dubh on the left
We had lunch near the farmstead, now a private house, of Lorn
