Setting off from the waste ground at Craigendoran onto the rocky beach
Having our morning tea break on the north shore of Ardmore North Bay
Due to the strong SW wind, we waited here for the tide to drop sufficiently to walk across to the Ardmore Peninsula.
As the tide receded we were able to walk over to the Ardmore Peninsula without getting wet feet
Safely across the Ardmore North Bay we looked back to Helensburgh as the tide continued to recede
A near perfect rainbow greeted us as we completed our circuit of the peninsular
The left end of the rainbow showed where we had been, and the right end showed where we were going
Our afternoon tea break at the highest point of our walk at the foot of Killoeter
Returning to Craigendoran – downhill all the way and the sun shining
