Initially we climbed through a dense conifer forest but eventually emerged onto the open hillside
We stopped for our morning coffee break where the path to Beinn Each left the track to Glen Ample – The cloud was beginning to thin and break
We had a steady, steep climb as we left Glen Ample
We separated into small groups as the steady climb continued but we had fleeting views through the cloud of Meall Mor opposite Beinn Each
