A brief rest while climbing through the bracken, nettles and thistles at the start of our walk

Our morning tea break taken adjacent to the Wee Torry as we prepared to climb the last 150 m to Big Torry

Between Big Torry and Bengengie Hill we passed this small cairn marking the 542 m spot height between these two hills

Myreton Hill and Dumyat can be seen in the distance

Approaching Bengengie Hill from the south

Lunch time on the summit of Blairdenon Hill

Having passed Craighorn we were faced with a steep descent to the Glen Alva track.

After the steep descent we had a pleasant walk along the path to Glen Alva

The Wallace Monument can be seen on the left and Dumyat in the centre of the picture. Wee Torry is the rounded hill right of centre on the sky-line and our route earlier in the day passed through the narrow gully on the right of Wee Torry

Before returning to the car park we passed this waterfall on the Alva Burn
