Soon after the start of our walk we crossed the River Cononish
After a gentle climb we stopped for our morning break before starting a steep ascent
We climbed 250m and as the gradient eased, we entered the cloud
Fiarach’s summit is a small rocky outcrop

Before descending to Gleann Auchreoch we crossed the boggy ground to Craig Riabhach
As the cloud had lifted we had a good view from Craig Riabhach to Tyndrum
Returning to Gleann Auchreoch we entered a remnant of the Caledonian pine forest and had a view of Beinn Chuirn
