We started from Bochastle, walking alongside the River Teith which was in spate after recent heavy rains
The view opened up in front of us as we started to climb up the Ben Ledi hill path
The hill was very busy, as it was Bank Holiday Monday, but we managed to gain this excellent vantage point overlooking Loch Lubnaig for a brief coffee stop
As we climbed higher, the mist came down and the snow got deeper

We dropped off the summit to get out of the wind for our lunch stop overlooking Glen Finglas Reservoir
The descent was steep, boggy and again very busy
We descended via Stank Glen and returned to Bochastle via an attractive narrow path which led to a Forest track
