After leaving the Forth estuary we walked alongside the Bluther Burn through the Valleyfield Estate

We stopped at “The viewpoint” to admire the view
Although called "The viewpoint" in reality it is a reclaimed spoil heap or “bing” from the Blairhall colliery which was closed and abandoned in 1969.

In places the bracken was quite tall but fortunately the path was clear

Culross West Kirk
This ruined pre-reformation church has been derelict since before 1633. Some of the gravestones date from the 16th century.
We finished our walk with a stroll through the village of Culross.
