Our group walking alongside the Monkland Canal at the start of the walk and before the rain started
Walking past one of the ponds in Drumpellier Country Park after our morning break
The rain started during our break but it didn’t deter the ducks.
Here we see two male mallard, one female mallard and a coot.
Approaching Bishop Loch with the distinctive towers of Gartloch Hospital visible on the skyline.
The building was designed by John Thomson, son of the more famous Alexander “Greek” Thomson in 1892 and opened in 1896
