Approaching Loch Long as we left the Cowal Way and headed towards Ardgartan

After crossing the A83 we started to climb through the forestry but were rewarded by this view of Ben Lomond, Arrochar and Loch Long
We ate our lunch adjacent to the main tourist route to The Cobbler and Beinn Narnain
Now that the forest had been felled the view down Loch Long was impressive
We returned along the same route as our outward walk but this time had views up Glen Croe and to The Cobber
