A brief pause while walking along the West Highland Way soon after leaving Beinglas
As we left the West Highland Way and headed towards the Ben Glas Burn the scenery become more desolate
We crossed the Ben Glas Burn and headed to a small reservoir
Lunch was taken at the reservoir.
Not the most scenic lunch spot but a welcome shelter from the very strong winds which had buffeted us since leaving the West Highland Way
Retracing our outward route we crossed the Ben Glas Burn again as we returned to Beinglas
Ben Lui and Ben Oss can be seen in the distance
The path back to Beinglas was steep and very badly eroded
