Lochgoilhead, the Steeple and Donich Water

After our first break we started to climb above Loch Goil and stopped briefly at this viewpoint
As we continued climbing towards The Steeple the view improved although cloud obscured the summits of the surrounding hills
Still climbing but almost at the summit of The Steeple
We stopped for lunch on the summit of The Steeple
Despite the cloud the view in all directions was impressive
Here we look south down Loch Goil with Clach Bheinn prominent in the centre of the picture.
Our return route took us across the Donich Water
Unfortunately, the bridge was closed due to storm damage but we managed to ford the river and continued with our planned route.
