After leaving the track from Keilator we ascended Sron Gharbh and had this view across to Beinn Challuim, Beinn Chaorach and Beinn Odhar
An Caisteal was in cloud as we carried on but our second Munro of the day, Beinn a’ Chroin, had just emerged from the cloud
The cloud was clearing as we assembled for a group photograph on the summit of An Caisteal
From An Caisteal we could see our route ahead – down to the Bealach Buidhe and then up to Beinn a’ Chroin.
Several familiar landmarks are visible in this photograph – Ben Lomond on the right, Ben Venue on the left and Dumgoyne just visible in the centre.
We had an interesting scramble near the west top of Beinn a’ Chroin
