Leaving the car park we followed the ‘Pine Path’ and soon had a view of the south end of Loch Lomond with Inchfad (centre front) and Inchcailloch (left). Killoeter and Ben Bowie can be seen on the horizon
The ‘Pine Path’ is one of five waymarked trails from the Cashel Farm Visitors’ Centre developed by the Cashel Forest Trust.
Reaching the top of the ‘Pine Path’ we headed towards Beinn Bhreac
The route was not without obstacles!
Here we had to negotiate tree branches laid to provide access for caterpillar tracked vehicles to the hillside
As we neared the summit we had to cross an extensive peat hag – luckily it was quite dry and solid
We finally reached the summit of Beinn Bhreac
