After leaving the Yankee Road we headed to a triangulation pillar southwest of Maol an Fheidh
As we continued towards Maol an Fheidh we passed the tank graveyard
Morning tea was taken adjacent to the tank graveyard
There was a steep climb after our tea break before reaching the summit of Maol an Fheidh but the views were quite spectacular

The view looking north from the summit was equally spectacular
It was too windy on the summit for lunch but we dropped down into the Auchengaich Glen and found shelter
Here we see Auchengaich Reservoir and in the distance the River Clyde
Beinn a’ Mhanaich is seen in the distance as we descend over The Strone back to the Yankee Road
