Soon after leaving Garadhban Forest we walked across farmland and had our first views of Loch Lomond

We had an excellent view of Conic Hill as we walked down the farm track to Milton of Buchanan

Leaving Milton of Buchanan behind we continued through farmland towards the West Highland Way

We stopped for a late tea break/early lunch when we reached the West Highland Way and before starting the climb to Conic Hill

Leaving the farmland behind we encountered sheets of ice on the path and care was required to avoid slipping

At the top of Conic Hill the views were magnificent in all directions. Here we look west over Loch Lomond towards Luss

Our traditional summit photograph on the highest (361 m) of the three tops of Conic Hill

From the summit we descended the northeast ridge, joining the West Highland Way and retracing it to our starting point
