Walking west along the Forth and Clyde Canal towards Cadder at the start of our walk
As we approached Lambhill we met Aurelius – a sculpture of a Roman head
This is one of several artworks created for the Rediscovering the Antonine Wall project and was installed in 2021

This bridge, costing £13.7 million, provided by the Scottish Government was opened in November 2022 and connects the Ruchill, Maryhill and Gilshochill communities

Canal warehouses at Hamiltonhill Basin near the end of the Forth and Clyde Canal
Hamiltonhill Basin was a temporary terminus of the Forth and Canal in 1775 when the company ran out of money before reaching Port Dundas
Victorian mills and warehouses, now converted into flats, at Port Dundas at the end of the Forth and Clyde Canal
These mills and warehouses, built between 1851 and 1870, were the former City of Glasgow Grain Mills and Stores. They were converted into flats in 1989
