We set off from the car park along the well-constructed path towards Beinn Ghlas and Ben Lawers.
Beinn Ghlas is visible on the skyline, but Ben Lawers is hidden behind Beinn Ghlas.
Our morning break was taken at the bealach between Bein Ghlas and Meall Corranaich, ahead lay a steep but short ascent to the summit of Meall Corranaich
Once we were on the summit the view was magnificent. This is the view looking northwest towards Ben Nevis and Aonach Mor

We descended via the southwest ridge of Meall Corranaich with views of Lochan na Lairige and Meall nan Tarmachan
After leaving the ridge we crossed the Burn of Edramucky and rejoined our outward route on the main path
The return path led through deciduous woodland back to the car park with views across Loch Tay to Ben Vorlich and Stuc a’ Chroin
As we headed back to the car park, we paused to look back at Meall Corranaich, Beinn Ghlas and the woodland behind us
